This article explains the commission payment process from when a sale has been made until the money is in your bank account.

Adtraction’s payment process

When all transactions in a month for any given advertiser have been approved or rejected there are no pending transactions. When there are no pending transactions, we invoice the advertiser.

Pending transactions are transactions that have not yet been approved or rejected. The most common reason for operating with pending transactions is that many advertisers offer a 30-45 returns period to their customers and transactions are approved at the end of the return period.

There are three different ways for partners to get paid:

  • Standard Payment

    Partners get paid on the 10th of each month (or on the first bank day after the 10th if the 10th is a bank holiday).

  • Extra Payment

    Partners can request one extra payment each month.

  • Prepayment

    Partners can request payment before the invoice has been paid by the advertiser.

Standard payments

Once the invoice has been paid to Adtraction by the advertiser, the transactions that have been paid are included on a «payment specification» the 5th of every month. Payment goes through on the 10th the same month, meaning you will receive the money from the 10th and usually two working days after, depending on your bank. Delays may occur due to international transfer, depending on the bank used.

You can follow the status of your transactions in the user interface reviewing the «Account balance». The amount that is «Ready for payment» prior to the 5th the current month will be included on the payment specification and paid on the 10th the same month.

In practice, this means that if transactions for April have been approved, invoiced and paid by June 5th, the transactions will be paid to you on June 10th.

Extra payments

Should you have a high account balance ready for payment already on e.g the 20th (or any other day) and you don't want to wait until the next Standard Payment the 10th every month, you can request an additional payment simply by pressing the ‘Request extra payment’ button. This means that you can create an additional payment whenever you like as soon as you have a sufficient account balance. The payment is made the day after the additional payment has been requested.

The option to request additional payments can be found in the «Account balance» section in the user interface.

Please note that this option is only available for partners who have received at least three standard payments.

Pre payments

Publishers at Adtraction further have the option to get paid for invoiced transactions that the advertiser has not yet paid Adtraction for. This is a «Pre payment» that can be done once a month and will incur a small fee.

The option to request a pre payment can be found in the «Account balance» section in the user interface. The amount that is «Invoiced to advertiser» is eligible for pre payment. The payment is made the day after the Pre payment has been requested.

Please note that this option is only available for partners who have received at least three standard payments.

Why haven’t I received my payment?

Please ensure that you have filled in all the necessary information in your Adtraction account. This is required in order for us to complete the payment. Go to ‘Account’, ‘Settings’ and fill in your information in the tabs ‘Account’ and ‘Payment’.

The minimum commission you need on your Adtraction account is 100 NOK/100 SEK/100 DKK/10 EUR/10 GBP/50 PLN/10 USD. Payments will not be created until you are above these levels.
